The very first time I saw Purple rain I was eight, as well as it was at my good friend Peachy’s sleep party.

If I had Prince’s shimmery purple fit with the ruffled white button-down shirt, I’d wear this look keeping that OOTD in a heartbeat, ha ha ha!
Orange as well as purple combos are one of my makeup faves since they’re a no-brainer. The colors compliment each other as opposites on the color wheel, as well as when you put ’em together, they just make sense. If I’m in the mood to wear something colorful, all I have to do is discover tones that I like in both families, as well as I’m great to go.

I’m all about contrasting aspects in makeup, as well as I did it right here by pairing warm orange tones on my lids, cheeks as well as lips with the great purple liner on my lash lines.
Also, I tried this look with two different lip finishes, matte as well as gloss. I choose the matte since I like exactly how it contrasts with the shimmer on the lids as well as lash lines. Also, I feel like the matte balances the bright colors on the lids a bit much better than the gloss.
Both might work, though… It just depends upon exactly how strong you wanna go!
